Description

The bowl is a one of a kind Raku bowl. Raku is an ancient Japanese method of firing in an outdoor kiln using leaves or straw or paper as a way to create individual firing patterns on the clay. Each piece is different and the fire leaves its mark creating a beautiful, coppery irridescence on the surface of the work.
