- Thwarting Magic and Round Table Magician, written by local author Ann Tracy Marr, 1974 grad of Grosse Pointe South. Set in Jane Austen's era, these books are the first two in a series combining the magic of Camelot with the romance of Regency. Betty Dravis, top 1,000 reviewer for Amazon.com described Marr's work as, "....a unique, intriguing blend of Regency romance and magic. Marr has a wonderful, distinctive style of description that brings not only her characters to life but her settings as well..."
- Liberty! Co-founded by Grosse Pointe South alumnus David Rosen, the Gloucester Hornpipe and Clog Society has delighted audiences since 1971 with a lively mix of Celtic jigs and reels, American Colonial-era tunes, sing-along sea chanteys, and original songs of colorful people and places from New England's rich history. From ragtime to old-time, the band's rollicking, friendly style is fun for all ages. The ensemble appears throughout New England, and has earned honors at the International Folk Festival in Letterkenny, Ireland. Liberty was released in November 2008.
- Paris in Quotes - A refreshingly innovative look at Paris as you may never have seen it. 152 full-color original photographs by Sandy Schopbach, a long-time resident of the City of Light and Grosse Pointe South Alumni, illustrating quotes on Paris by famous writers, philosophers, diplomats, movie directors and musicians. Includes an introduction on the Paris of the Sixties as well as a Who’s Who of the people quoted.
- Miles the Very Lucky Cat - Sandy Schopbach also included her charming children's book about the story of Miles, a black-and-white kitten in France, who gets lost in the forest, then is found by Jeff and has adventures with a movie crew. A short, simple bedtime story for children ages 2 to 5 that is entertaining but also talks about how even bad things may turn out all right in the end.
- Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow. A Book of Days - This is a perpetual calendar filled with images of Grosse Pointe South by recent GPS grads.
