A graduate of Trinity College, Hartford, CT, Nancy began her painting career in the mid-eighties, painting in oils in the field of Decorative Arts. After several years, feeling the need for a looser painting medium, she moved into watercolors, studying with Dedham artist Nancy Howell. Her wonderful spirit and method of teaching inspired what would become a passion for watercolor painting. Subsequently, Nancy has studied with George Shed, portrait painter Robert Cormier, Australian painter Alvaro Castagnet, and Paul George of Gloucester.  In addition, she  teaches adult watercolor classes during the school year.
