This is a 10"x10" oil on canvas painting, framed in a light bronze finished aluminum, entitled "Frog Pond" by Freeport artist, Mary "MK" Berry.  This is a piece where the artist explored the layered colors of a shallow pond that offered camouflage to a local resident.

Images and landscapes that catch out aesthetic senses are everywhere in Maine. Mary (MK) looks for the color, pattern and design that make our places unique and seeks to bring those elements into a pleasing composition.
