Morning is the best! at the Dovetail Inn. Enjoy a steaming cup of coffee or a pot of tea and your favorite paper in our early 1800s keeping room. Watch the village come alive while enjoying our delectable breakfast buffet of warm melt-in-your mouth muffins and breads, fresh fruit and juices. Summer and fall days might be filled with hiking and biking, attending festivals and farmers' markets, checking out our many galleries, shops and numerous historical sites. Winter, of course, our thoughts shift to activities involving snow - the slopes are just a few minutes away. Evenings are the time to relax at one of our fine restaurants and then perhaps attend a production at the nearby Dorset Theatre. Then, home to bed in one of our 10 guestrooms, cozy to king size, all with private baths, a/c, catv. They are thoughtfully and individually decorated... some with fireplaces and poster beds... and plenty of pillows and lamps to make reading a pleasure.
