Description
Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime chance to ride aboard the T/S State of Maine! On June 27th, the two of you can park your car in Castine, take the bus to Rockland, and then the fun begins! Ride aboard the MMA Tug Pentagoet from the Rockland Municipal Dock to the T/S State of Maine anchored in Rockland harbor. Then it's off to Castine harbor, all the while taking in the scenery, exploring the ship, having lunch, and most of all, visiting with our first and third year students who have been at sea for two months!
Special Instructions
Includes bus transportation leaving from Castine to Rockland at approximately 5:15 am. Must be 13 years or older. The ship is not ADA compliant. Anyone needing the use of a wheel chair, oxygen tank, cane, crutches or who may be in any type of a walking cast will not be permitted aboard. You must be able to climb a ladder. You must have a valid picture identification card. All carry-on items will be inspected. You should be in reasonable physical condition and you should not be bothered by heights.
