Description of McGreevy’s 3rd Base Saloon
88 YEARS AFTER PROHIBITION CLOSED ITS DOORS, NUF CED MCGREEVY’S 3RD BASE SALOON REOPENS IN BOSTON AT 911 BOYLSTON ST.
Considered by many as the “Birthplace of Red Sox Nation” and “America’s 1st Sports-Bar and Baseball Museum”, McGreevy’s 3rd Base Saloon is finally back after its disappearance from the Boston scene in 1920. Back then its founder “Nuf Ced” McGreevy led his group of rabid Red Sox fans “the Royal Rooters” in song as they led their Red Sox to victory with the fight song “Tessie”.
