From Outer Voices' own images, depicting the life, culture and communities of the people of Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia, we are offering this one of a kind print from our current exhibition, The People of Nifiloli. In the exhibition we try to capture the essence of day to day life of the people who inhabit this very remote island in the southeastern corner of the Solomon Islands. The people of Nifiloli live an almost entirely self-sufficient life, and rely on their own creativity for their cultural life and community mores. Our "advanced" civilization has so much to learn from their extraordinary capacity for self reliance and deep ingenuity - what we strive to build in our own children by sending them to Waldorf School.
