Description
In crafting this wine, Steven Canter went back and forth over the final blend for months, knowing that as our standard bearer, this wine would be subject to close scrutiny. That is a lot of pressure for one wine to live up to. But, at the end of the day, Steven finds that if you blend one really good wine with another really good wine, you tend to end up with...a really good wine. This Zinfandel offers briar and bramble fruit with that telling nose of plum and black pepper associated to closely with Dry Creek Valley. The wine is fully ripe and offers quite a bit of flavor and richness while staying light on its feet.
