Description

While quarterback at Boston University, Harry Agganis set a record for touchdown passes and was drafted by both the NFL and the Boston Red Sox. Agganis went with the Sox. His season was off to a good start in 1955, when he tragically fell ill and died at the age of 26.


Artist Armand LaMontagne is renowned for his depictions of great athletes.  His statues and paintings are found in the New England Sports Museum and the Baseball and Basketball Halls of Fame - to name just a few venues. Lamontagne, his work - and his work ethic - have earned the respect of many of the contemporary sports figures and others he's portrayed.
