Artist Sylvia C. Krausse was born and raised in Indonesia and came to the Untied States on a scholarship. This oil on canvas is a fine example of Sylvia’s fondness for the vivid colors in tropical flora and fauna.  

Over the years, nature programs here on Rhode Island PBS inspired her to focus on wildlife and flowers and she hopes that her work will inspire people to become more environmentally aware.
