Joe Avarista burst onto the arts scene with his lifelike sculptures of clothing you would swear you could wear! He has also carved life-size figures, including a statue of Thomas Dorr, leader of Rhode Island's 19^th-Century "Dorr Rebellion," for Heritage Harbor Museum.
