Donna Kenny Kirwan has been painting in watercolors, acrylics and oils for over 30 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island, where she combined her love of writing and art by pursuing a major in Journalism and English and a minor in Fine Arts. This painting, an original watercolor entitled “Summer Gifts,” was inspired by a visit to Block Island’s Scarlet Begonia gift shop.
