A life member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society, Helen has an MFA from Syracuse University, where she taught in their graduate program. A two-time winner of the Governor’s Trophy here in Rhode Island, Helen has offered workshops and lectures in Florida; her contemporary work was featured in a New Hampshire exhibition; and has had paintings chosen for the Queen’s Gallery in England.
