This original oil on board by Ruth Keetly Clarke of Kenyon is a view of Newport's landmark St George's School Chapel from the Sakonnet River. The campus sits atop the highest hill on Aquidneck, and the classic, Gothic-style chapel dates back to 1928. This piece was painted sometime in the 1940's or 1950's.
