This original oil depicts Thomas Street on Providence's historic East Side.  The artist has been inspired not only by the architectural beauty of the buildings on Thomas Street but also by the fascinating history that lies within each. The Providence Art Club, founded in 1880, is the second oldest art club in the nation.
