Astrid paints what moves her - what comes from inside. "Unknown Portrait - 08" is a recent work. Created in sumi ink on archival digital paper, it sits on museum board.

A Rhode Island School of Design grad with an MFA from Hunter College, she works in multiple media and her work has won several awards. Astrid's art has been exhibited in many solo and juried shows. It's on display at Gallery Z, the South County and Provincetown Art Associations, the Newport Art Museum and Rhode Island Art League and in New York City galleries. One of her works is in the permanent collection of Gonzaga University in Spokane
