Jerome Doyle is known for his watercolors and ink-and-brush artwork; the colors here are gouache - opaque watercolors - so this work combines his two favorite techniques!  In this delightful piece, we see Cinderella’s home, by the fire whose cinders provide her name, inspired by the set for the Festival Ballet's classic performance here in Providence.
