This silk-screened piece is by artist Louse Minks. Living in the Berkshires, she creates monotype acrylic screen prints: each is an original, one-of-a-kind piece. She uses fast-drying inks, and has to work quickly to capture her intended image. An artist who refuses to be pinned down, Louise - who has a degree in American History - also paints historical figures that have gone on tour to schools and cultural intuitions.
