Alice created this delightful, plein-air watercolor at the end of the bike path in Bristol in the summer of 2006. The subject is Quito's - a restaurant that, as you can see, is right on the waterfront. Alice is a member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society and her expedition that resulted in this painting was part of a 'paint out' - an effort by Society members to expose communities throughout the state to their work.
