Bettie Sarantos attributes her unique watercolor style to her love and respect of oriental painting and philosophy. She has been a student of Chinese brushwork for many years. Chinese brush bristles can be made of fibers from many animals, including panthers, wolves, sheep, horses - even mouse whiskers!
