Description
Now a Cape Cod resident, Rowland Scherman was the Peace Corps' first photographer. His list of subjects reads like a who's who of the 1960s, including JFK and RFK, Jimmy Hoffa, Abbie Hoffman, Art Buchwald, Stokely Carmichael, George Carlin; onstage with the Beatles… you get the idea! He even shot the picture on the cover of Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits. This is a change of pace, an incredible, stunning appreciation of the beauty in nature - shot by a photographic master of 20th Century. Rowland Scherman's work can be seen at Artworks and the Framing Gallery, Orleans, and the Morrison Hotel Gallery in NYC.
