Though she’s attended art classes, Selma Alden is largely self-taught. Nonetheless, 30 years as an interior designer and fabric coordinator have helped her develop her eye for beauty. Selma’s title for this etching raises a question: Does “Winter” refer to the season or the time of the subjects’ lives? Either way, her ability to capture funny, unusual moments shows through!
