William K. Daby earned an Art degree from U-Mass Dartmouth, signed up with Uncle Sam and became an Army photographer. That was followed by a 35+ year career as a photojournalist, mostly with the Providence Journal-Bulletin, during which he won several awards for images shot locally and around the world.
