Description
What do Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, Lou Costello, James Cagney and Tom Hanks all have in common? They all love Patsy’s Italian Restaurant in New York City, open and owned by the Scognamillo family since 1944. This basket is designed to help you recreate a Patsy’s meal in your own home.
The centerpiece of the basket is a signed copy of Patsy’s Cookbook: Classic Italian Recipes from a New York City Restaurant, donated by Patsy’s restaurant. The cookbook has a fantastic collection of no-nonsense recipes served in the restaurant, as well as a foreword by Nancy Sinatra, stories from over a dozen celebrities who frequent the restaurant, and hundreds of anecdotes from Sal J. Scognamillo. The cookbook is a favorite in the Gothelf household.
The basket also includes other items donated by Patsy’s: a ceramic carafe filled with olive oil and a matching bread dipping bowl, three 24 oz. jars of truly scrumptious Patsy’s pasta sauces, several jars of roasted vegetables, a three-set of Patsy’s oil and vinegars, and an apron carrying the Patsy’s logo.
To top it off, Morton and Bassett Spices is contributing eight organic Italian spices to this basket: granulated garlic, granulated onion, oregano, rosemary, basil, bay leaves, Italian spice blend, and Italian parsley.
And finally, the Gothelf family is throwing in a quality bottle of Italian wine, Italian salami, pasta, 3 dry Italian cheeses, and a rotary cheese grater to make this a COMPLETE dinner basket!!!
Buon Appetito!
