Jessica's and Kat's class auction project is a framed art mosaic piece made almost entirely by the children.  The piece consists of three circles of glass tiles in various shades of green- each representing one of the 3 years in the primary cycle.  The green color, itself, is representative of Montessori's respect for the environment, realizing as well how much a role the natural world plays in the Montessori curriculum.  On the back of the piece, there will be an artists' dedication (in the childrens' own words) with three Haiku's... again, each Haiku representing a year of the primary cycle.
