Local artist/educator P. J. Zidonowitz has placed for bid an oil painting on paper.  The translucent washes of color construct the two female nudes inspired by T. de Lempinka's 1920 French art deco painting "Les Deux Amies."  Two sensual nudes painted in a fusion of the neo-classical and art deco styles are posed before a cityscape seen through a window.  Dimensions are 19" x 15.5", and the painting has been matted in white and placed inside a black metal frame.

P. J. Zidonowitz received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and he is currently teaching a class on Japanese Sumi-e ink painting at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center.
