A silver, 2GB, 500-song iPod Nano has been made available for bid by TDS Metrocom.  Note that this is not the newest version of the Nano.

Instead of the hard disk that is used in the iPod Classic, the Nano uses flash memory.  This means there are no moving parts, making the iPod Nano resistant to skipping due to sudden movement.

The iPod Nano works with iTunes on Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows.
