“August Afternoon at Sister Bay” – an original, framed pastel painting done en plein air in Sister Bay, Door County, Wisconsin in 2008.  Door County, which also boasts several timeshare resorts, is a well-known regional resort area and summer artists’ colony.  The painter is long-time ARDA staff member Stephany A. Madsen, who occasionally enjoys looking at something other than timeshare regulations.  More of Stephany’s pastels are on view at The Paintbox Gallery in Ephraim, Wisconsin.
