This is the very first recording available on American Modern Recordings (AMR), a new division of Lumiere Records that celebrates new music by American composers. This is also the in-house label for the American Modern Ensemble (AME), a new music group based in NYC. This first release features two members of AME, Stephen Gosling and Blair McMillen, pianists, hailed as "Brilliant... the dynamic duo of new music pianists" in The New York Times.
