Description

'Dear Auntie, Why Me?' by "Peggy" Margaret A. Anderson

This book is about a Duluth woman's diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.  Through letters to her Auntie, we learn about her tests, exams, and different stages of the treatment.  The author has also included cancer facts, knowledge, concepts, and terminology used by the medical profession about breast cancer she wished she had known before she had a diagnosis of breast cancer to try and prevent this disease.  Also included are positive affirmations and thoughts that she and her Auntie shared.
