Jacob Jay Lindenthal is a professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the New Jersey Medical School, and the Director of Public Understanding of Health and Medicine at the New Jersey Medical School.  He has completed graduate training at Columbia, Yale, and Yeshiva Universities. 

Lindenthal has had a long and abiding interest in photography since childhood, which has deepened in the last decade. He has exhibited widely and his work is in the permanent collections of many institutions.  He has been employing the medium format and has increasingly been exploring digital photography.
