Is there an artist in your family? The Woodlands Academy of Art provides classes for all ages, 5 and up. Each class is limited to 10 students with 2 professional instructors. Instruction is individualized for each student, rather than as a group, so each student can progress at their own pace. Classes focus on teaching realistic drawing and painting, with emphasis on proportion, measurement and use of color in different mediums. The Academy's philosophy is "Everyone is capable of acquiring the skills necessary to draw and paint realistically - limited only by the individual's level of determination".
