Description

Join the Frosts for a catered luncheon in the midst of one of California’s most prodigious expanses of wildflowers.  Adjacent to the California Poppy Reserve, the 270,000 acre Tejon Ranch (http://www.tejonranch.com/conservation/wildflowers.asp ) is the second largest contiguous ranch in the United States and a major part of California’s history.  Through locked gates, the lucky winners will experience the same flora and blooms as the Reserve, with no crowds (in fact, with no one around).  See California the way it was 500 years ago.  To match the vistas, we will sample some of our state’s most famous pinot noirs all in the midst of poppies, lupine, and buttercups.  All transportation is provided with departure from Saint Matthews. Limited to seven lucky couples.  The date is set at Saturday April 18th, 2009.
