Description

  • 2005 Trecini Cellars Rockpile Zinfandel, 3 BOTTLES

  • 2004 Trecini Cellars Syrah, Russian River Valley 3 BOTTLES - BEST OF CLASS, AND TWO GOLD MEDALS this 2004 was the perfect year for growing cooler climate fruit; the grapes remained on the vines for an incredibly long time, giving the grapes the ability to make wines with an extraordinary depth and complexity. Several days of extended maceration gave this wine additional layers of fruit, and a core of rich ripe tannins making this wine deceptive with its substantial structure.

  • 2004 Trecini Cellars Signature Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley 3 BOTTLES - DOUBLE GOLD & BEST OF CLASS PLUS 5 GOLD MEDALS. The vineyard is composed of 40-year-old vines seated in red soil along the east bench of Dry Creek. Special care and attention were administered to these mature and rich vines. The final blend has 1% Petite Syrah and 1% Alicante Bouchet for depth of color and balance. The wine was in the barrel for 22 months. The color of the wine is a deep garnet almost opaque. Your nose will experience white pepper, spices, plums, blueberries, raspberries, fresh and dried cherries, and a blend of dried herbs. The palate is middle balanced with a rich, fullness, good long finish, and nice texture. Sweet fruits will stay in your palate long after you finish the drink. Dried fruits, spice, cherries, plums, dried herbs, minerals, concentrated dried herbs, follows a small hint of tar. Since this Zin was picked at a higher brix and kept in barrel for a longer period than our regular tasty Zin, the brambly and toastiness really comes forward on your palate. A richly structured Zin with a long feel of the wine, it delights your palate with a long lingering finish. This wine is ready to drink and will age well for three to five years for ideal drinking.
