Ron Nelson has been a lifelong resident of Rhode Island. He graduated from Central Falls High School and Northeastern University. After teaching for 28 years in Providence Public Schools, he retired in 1995.

Ron is a member of the RI Watercolor Society. He has had his work on exhibition at various locations and galleries in RI and MA.
