A rare opportunity to have lunch with the Editor of the Vacaville Reporter at Los Reyes Restaurant in Vacaville.
As The Reporter's Editor, Diane Barney has worked in a variety of editing capacitities since 1984. She is responsible for the operation of the newsroom and also writes a biweekly column. Not an easy job, yet she remains one of the nicest people in journalism. You'll have a great time and learn a lot about Vacaville and the newspaper business.
You will join Mrs. Barney for lunch at a Vacaville favorite, Los Reyes Restaurant on Main Street.
The Reporter, a 20,000-circulation daily newspaper, has won numerous journalism awards during the past 20 years, including a James Madison Freedom of Information Award in 2003 and a Fairbanks Public Service Award in 2003.
Special Instructions
The winner will need to contact Mrs. Barney's office within one month of the close of the auction to get on her busy calendar. If the Lunch item is not used it will expire eleven months from the close of the auction.
