Renowned south-paw power pitcher, Vida Blue played for the Oakland Athletics, San Francisco Giants, and Kansas City Royals during his 17 year career in MLB.  After baseball, Blue made a name and career for himself in the San Francisco Bay Area by donating his time to many charitable causes – including signing autographs for employees when AT&T/Pacific Bell Park was first built.
