All three are in the Basketball Hall of Fame.  Coach Roy Williams played under Dean Smith and is now the successful Coach at UNC. Larry Brown played under Dean Smith, he coached the Detroit Pistons and led them to a National Championship and is currently coaching the Charlotte Bobcats
