A lot of speed… a little bit of Hollywood… wrapped in one package.
Dec. 17, 1979 Stan Barrett became the first man to break the speed of sound in a land vehicle in the Budweiser Rocket. With its 60,000 HRP rocket motor and a 12,000 HP sidewinder missile-booster, the vehicle was propelled to a speed of 739 mph in just 16.8 seconds on the space shuttle runway at Edwards AFB in California. Stan went on to race NASCAR with several top ten finishes. His credits and stunts performed are too many to include.... Paul Newman, Burt Reynolds are most notables. His son Stanton followed in his footsteps as a stuntman and on to a NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide Series driver and now beyond to Indy cars and the IRL as well. Together father and son have created an irresistible Grand Prix package for two.
•Your Company name or charity name on the car, placed on top of the side pod and on the nose of the race car.
•Two Pit Passes that will allow the holders to hang around the pit and paddock with team during one or all three days of the LBGP event
•Meet and greet with Driver Stanton Barrett at the track and team hats and t-shirts signed by driver
•Watch race from a preferred area in Team Pit Box
•Dinner in Los Angeles with Driver Stanton Barrett and father Stan. Date to be determined upon driver availability, no expiration.
•In coordination with IRL and Stanton Barrett Motorsports, will execute a press release about the charity and donation purchaser or company. The press release will go out to thousands of media contacts that closely work with the IRL.
Special Instructions
Names placed on car: Must have prior approval, not conflict with any team or driver sponsors, and must fall under approval and guidelines of the Ind Racing League. Names associated with the following not permitted: Hotels, record companies, cell phone or voice over IOP and phone brands. Phone stores are okay.
Does not include to use the team or driver in any advertising or promotions outside of this particular event, unless with prior approval by Team and Driver in writing.
Stanton Barrett has performed as a stuntman in skiing, motocross and snowmobile racing. He has worked in nearly 150 motion pictures and television series. He has worked additionally in stunt doubling and stunt coordinating for many of Hollywood actors in films such as: The Dukes of Hazzard, Spider-Man 1, 2 and 3, Jurassic Park 2 and 3, Rat Race, Blade, Batman, The Nutty Professor, Volcano, Extreme Jumanji, Fastlane, and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
