Ms. Macht kindly donated a rocking chair to her 3^rd grade class in early September.  Each student took turns sanding and preparing the chair for painting.  Class members were encouraged to freely paint using their creativity and beautiful, bold colors.  It is a perfect spot for your little author to sit in while creating a masterpiece of his/her own.
