The 5th graders chose a "green theme" to promote environmental consciousness.  The students in Leonie Nakayama's class created an 18" by 24" framed piece of artwork that utilizes only recycled materials, such as chipboard, paper, plastic and wood.  Each student created a unique footprint that was mounted on a piece of tree bark.
