The students of 5Ma have decorated this occasional table in keeping with the 5^th grade Earth-friendly theme this year.  Despite trying to reuse an old piece of furniture, we had to start with a new, unfinished wooden table. Some of the students then primed the table before three colors of paint were applied. Each student then designed and painted a square of their choice to demonstrate some aspect of "Go Green, Live Well and Keep the Earth Healthy". The artistic approach to this project took its start from the popular folk art style of Sticks Art. This table is sure to be a winner and will look great in many different rooms of the home!
