"Hermitage of St. Sergius" 

Russian-born artist Nicholas Roerich explored the mystic origins, the natural beauty, and the spiritual strivings of humanity and of the world through his luminous paintings. This painting, "The Hermitage of St. Sergius," is donated by the Nicholas Roerich museum on the Upper West Side.

Roerich painted this picture in 1933.

Framed, it measures 15" in length and 9" in height.
