This beautiful home is located in Mineral de Pozos, a small mining village in the NE of the state of Guanajuato, Mexico.  it is very close to San Luis de la Paz. 
 
There are 4 bed rooms, each with queen-sized bed and their own bath room and there is a person at the house daily to cook, clean and do laundry.  Drivers can be arranged as desired.  There is a lap pool, but keep in mind that Pozos is 7,000 feet high, with very low humidity, so while it is pleasant to sit outside, it is rarely so hot that you want to swim.  Don’t think beach – think beautiful desert climate.  Long pants are appropriate and comfortable at all times.
 
Nearby sites: Pozos is 45 minutes from San Miguel, which is a beautiful small city with Spanish colonial homes and cobble stoned streets, with a sizeable American population, well known as a tourist destination.  Pozos is also a good site from which to tour Mexico’s historic mining cities.  The house is 45 minutes from Queretaro, 1 ½ hours from San Luis Potosi or the city of Guanajuato, and an easy drive to Aguascalientes or Zacatecas.
 
For avid readers, walkers, nappers, it is not necessary to tour anywhere.  You will be very comfortable and well taken care of at the house.  Most visitors to Pozos tour the old gold and silver mines, the ruins of which can still be toured.  There is lots of space to walk.  Horseback riding can also be arranged.
