The Dance Theatre of Harlem is a Community school of the allied arts which offers extensive courses in music, dance, costuming and theatre to all who would enter; from pre-school children to senior citizens.

It is also profoundly more than that. Non-political and un-ethnic, it is proving that classical ballet is universal-because the school is really about love in all its myriad styles and manifestations.
