• Drawing upon his artistic vision for design, balance, and color as exemplified in his career as a menswear designer, Lester Blum began exploring photography five years ago.


• Primarily self taught, he works in both black & white and color, photographing a diversity of subjects ranging from florals to portraits to landscapes to artistic nudes.


• As an artist, he exhibited eleven paintings in nine juried national shows during the period of one year. As a photographer, he has participated in four annual group shows at the Center in New York.


• In 2007, Lester had two one-man exhibits: Vision of Man and Bouquet of Beauty - in the Gallery Room of the OW Lounge in New York


• In June, 2008 two images displayed at the Annual Juried Photography and Graphics Exhibition for Non Members at the Salmagundi Club in New York.


• Theatrical images of the play, The Rariest of Birds, are currently on display in the lobby of the Wings Theater in New York.


• His photographs are included in numerous domestic and international private collections. Lester continues to refine his photography with new concepts and techniques for capturing his wide range of subjects.
