Sasha Cohen, in his Ali G guise and out, is one of the world’s top comedians.

“This Artist’s Proof was part of a collaboration on a book project although it was never published in this form. The original picture of him on the crucifix with dramatic skies behind got him into a lot of trouble with the UK press. Relatively early on in his path to stardom (ca. 2001,) this moment saw him seeing how far he could push the boundaries.” Says Mr. Scheinmann.

David Scheinmann’s feature film, The West Wittering Affair, screened at BIFF in 2006. David Scheinmann is a London based photographer, commercials director and filmmaker with UK, European and US representation. As a filmmaker he has directed over 30 music videos and commercials and in 2005 completed his first feature film as director. His work in both photography and film has received a host of industry awards, and his limited edition photography is in numerous private collections.
