Meet a Tiger Shark ... Up Close and Personal

Item Number: 1001
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
Take a trip out to Challenger Banks with the Bermuda Shark Project -- and view a Tiger Shark from the safety of the organisation's shark cage. The winning bidder can also help with whatever tagging is going on that day, which may include helping to mount a satellite tag to the dorsal fin of a Tiger Shark at least 10 feet in length.
This adventure is for one person. The participant must be comfortable wearing and using a snorkel. (No scuba gear is involved – sharks don’t like the bubbles.)
You will also receive an autographed DVD of “My Backyard”
One man. One year. One camera. Biologist Choy Aming explores the diversity of Bermuda’s marine life. The cast includes unusual reef creatures, an old Navy tower, Humpback Whales and a veterinarian who has built his own shark cage. Get up close and personal with the inch-long Flamingo Tongue and the 50-foot Humpback as Choy explores our underwater world. Featuring Neil Burnie.
