This is the first wine we have produced with grapes exclusively from our vineyard.  There is a hint of dark chocolate wrapped around the signature spice and dark red fruits.  This wine has more explosive flavors and the chocolate nuances appear on the palate as well.  This wine screams Russian River Valley and confirms the profile that we believe is a hallmark of the vineyard-that is, red raspberries, cherries, and an underlying stream of spices.  The wine has softer tannins and although it is approachable now, it will greatly benefit from a year or two in the cellar.  Only 92 cases produced.
